About
The National Institute for Health and Care Research's Policy Research Unit in Economic Methods of Evaluation of Health and Care Interventions [EEPRU] is a five-year programme of work that first started in January 2010, (with the lastest programme [EEPRU3] commencing in January 2024), and is collaboration between the Universities of York and Sheffield. The NIHR funds, enables and delivers world-leading health and social care research that improves people’s health and wellbeing and promotes economic growth.
What we do
The unit aims to assist policy makers in the Department of Health and Social Care and arm’s length bodies to improve the allocation of resources in health and social care through high quality research.
