Validation of the EQ-5D-5L valuation set
Prior to making any recommendation to use the 5L, there is a requirement for public decision makers to take steps to quality assure the underlying models, appropriate to the level of risk and consistent with the Macpherson report.
EEPRU were asked to undertake quality assurance of the published value set for England. Below you will find the EEPRU report, independent referee comments, EEPRU responses to those comments and EEPRU responses to review from the EQ5D-5L valuation research team.
